A good promotional product supplier would have recommended something far more appropriate for a group of successful, middle aged, self employed female travel agents than a towel and a water bottle. How lazy is that supplier?
A promo product used as a gift should hold some value to the recipient ; either for personal use or as an example of clever gifting.
For the same price they could have got a customized iPad compendium (ideal for the busy, tech savvy executive sales woman) digital photo frames (show off your travel memories), usb sticks, travel wallets or coffee mugs .
It frustrates me that lazy suppliers get away with thoughtless gifts. An example of a great promotion was the Movember promotion at Griild, where they gave away cheap little moustache combs. genius!
